Like many companies, we’re experiencing higher fuel and labor costs, so delivering your groceries to you is more expensive than ever.
Starting on March 31, you’ll see a $1 increase in the delivery fee in your orders. We’ve worked hard to keep this increase minor for you, as we always want to make it easy to balance getting a good value with doing good for the planet.
As always, delivery will continue to be free over the threshold of $60.
Rest assured that we continue to minimize the carbon footprint of our deliveries. By delivering once a week to your entire neighborhood, we cut down on countless individual trips to the store. There will also be no changes to our Packaging Return Program, which allows you to return your gel packs, insulated liners, and egg carton bubble wrap to us for free so they can be reused or recycled.
Head to our blog for a deeper dive into the forces at work and how we’re doing our best to continue to offer you great value. We’ll do everything we can to continue to deliver affordable, food waste-fighting groceries to your doorstep each week. Thank you for your ongoing support of our mission to eliminate food waste and build a better food system for everyone.
