Imperfect Foods was notified that one of our suppliers, Thomson International, Inc. has alerted the FDA of potential salmonella contamination with their red onion crop, and risk of cross-contamination with their yellow, white and sweet onions. To learn more, please see here.
As of August 1, 2020, we have pulled all inventory from the supplier and have alerted all customers potentially impacted via email, recommending they dispose of any conventional red or yellow onions purchased from Imperfect Foods. Any onions that customers purchased after August 2, 2020 are safe for consumption and will not be refunded.
