Most of our produce arrives directly from farms, is immediately packed, and then shipped to you. Since it’s not hanging out in a warehouse for long or waiting for a buyer on a display shelf, it’s usually fresher than what you find at the store.
The more specific answer depends on the produce in question, where it’s traveling from, and which of our cities it's heading to. Some items arrive in as little as a day on a refrigerated truck. We also buy fruits and veggies directly from distribution centers, because it’s often more efficient transportation-wise, and results in fresher, more affordable produce for you.
