After your driver picks up your gel packs, they'll return them to our warehouse. From there, we'll work with a local partner to sanitize them for reuse in future orders.

Our supplier uses a Flight Machine Commercial Dishwasher, using Smartpower detergent commonly found in restaurants, to sanitize the packs for re-use. Everything is nontoxic and food safe. Just like eating at a restaurant and using their plates and cups. 

Occasionally the cleaning, freezing, and decanting process will cause holes to the gel packs. We always try to ensure gel packs with holes are removed from the recycling process, but on occasion they are not visible to our teams.
