# How do I skip an order?

We know that life happens and sometimes you need to skip or cancel a future order! 

*   If you're on a Subscription plan, you can do this from the "Upcoming Deliveries" section of your account anytime before the shopping window for that order closes at 11:45 PM ET. Once your shopping window closes, our warehouse team gets to work packing your groceries for delivery. 
*   If you're on a Flex plan, there's no need to skip any upcoming orders, if you don't add items to your cart during your open shopping window that week, an order won't be created for you.

### To skip an upcoming order: 

  

Step 1: Log into your account

Step 2: Click "Upcoming Deliveries" in the Account menu 

_The Account menu is located on the left side of your desktop screen. If you're using our mobile app, you can open the Account menu by clicking the Account tab in the bottom right corner of your mobile screen._

Step 3: Locate the delivery date(s) you want to skip under the month they're scheduled for

_We now have the option to donate your order instead of skipping it! You'll be charged for and accrue Perks Points on the order the same as a regular purchase, and the groceries will be donated to one of our [donation partners](https://blog.imperfectfoods.com/imperfect-donations-saving-food-and-fighting-hunger/)._ 

Step 4: Select your Skip reason from the dropdown menu

Step 5: Click the Submit button

_Once you've successfully skipped your order, you'll see an "Undo" button to the right of the skipped delivery date_
